Classification and grades of titanium and titanium alloy plates
Classification and grades of titanium and titanium alloy plates
1、 Classification of titanium and titanium alloys
In 1956, McGovern proposed a method for classifying titanium and titanium alloys based on the composition of phases in the annealed state, which classified titanium and its alloys into four categories: pure titanium, alpha titanium alloys, alpha+beta titanium alloys, and beta titanium alloys.
Chinese titanium alloy grades start with TA, TB, and TC, respectively representing alpha titanium alloy, beta titanium alloy, and alpha+beta titanium alloy.
